The
Japanes Nightmare Kahagas, under the managerial expertise of Rico
Cassanova, has been able to keep a firm grip on his Southeastern
Heavyweight Title for nearly 2 years. He has turned back challenges
from all of CCW's top stars including Showtime JB Cool, Bruno
Sassi, and even Jimmy Superfly Snuka. His closest calls have come
when in the ring with the high flying and unpredictable Pablo
Marquez. Pablo has earned another shot at the belt at Summer Showdown
on June 6th in Coral Springs, Fl. but another wrinkle has been
added. Coastal Championship Wrestling President Gordo D. Pallone
has always been intent on giving CCW fans their money's worth
and in collaberation with CCW Commissioner Harry Venis, he has
inked a deal with ECW Legend Sabu to be the third participant,
making this a trple threat match!
It has been almost 8 years since this hardcore legend has stepped foot in South Florida and CCW has given the local fans a real treat by solidifying his return. Sabu's wrestling style was the impetus behind the success of Extreme Championship Wrestling during its heyday and he plans on holding nothing back as he challenges Kahagas and Marquez for the SEC belt. While The Japanes Nightmare and Sabu have never squared off, Pablo Marquez and the Extreme Superstar are no strangers to one another. Most CCW fans are not aware that Pablo was an ECW Superstar in the late 90's as well as a top star in Puerto Rico's IWA and that he and Sabu have had some epic battles for those two promotions. Wins and losses were split pretty evenly between the two and Pablo has made it clear that he looks forward to getting back in the squared circle with his old nemesis. Could Marquez's familiarity with both of his opponents give him the edge in this triple threat match? It could very well be the deciding factor. We will certainly get the answer to that question on Saturday June 6th in Coral springs and we hope to see everyone at the matches!!!
