Word of Coastal Championship
Wrestling's talented roster has reached far and wide. Pablo
Marquez has made two successful tours of Spain in as many
months and looks to be headed back in the near future. CCW
has received e-mails from promotions in other states and
Puerto Rico requesting booking information on several of
its top stars. Now, for the first time a Coastal Championship
Wrestling title belt will be defended on foreign ground
as Southeastern Heavyweight Champion Kahagas is headed for
the Dominican Republic. That trip will be followed by a
tour of Panama where the gold will also be up for grabs.
Commissioner Harry Venis reviewed all of the contracts for
Kahagas' title defenses and showed everyone why it's smart
to have a wiley politician at the helm. Venis had a clause
added to each contract stating that if Kahagas were to lose
the Southeastern Championship on foreign soil, the new champion
would be required to give him a rematch within 30 days at
a CCW event in the state of Florida! A loss for the Japanese
Nightmare on these tours could make for some interesting
matches in the coming months at CCW events, but everyone
here wishes the champ luck and hopes to see him at September
Fallout with the gold strapped securely around his waist!
