Hard core Holiday is the traditional end of the year blow out for CCW with a Xmas Tree Match ending it all. This year had a great three team tag match with no one escaping without some type of injury or ringing in their heads.

Palladium Wrestling Review

On Saturday night, November 22nd in Davie, CCW presented their first student show at Body Slam University at the Palladium. Having attend prior shows at the old BSU, I was very happy to see the student shows moved here. In the old facility, you could not climb to the top rope without breaking through the roof! The card attracted a nice sized crowd of a 130 or so which is pretty good .

Far From Home!

Coastal Championship Wrestling has once again been contacted by a foreign promotion in search of talent. Southeastern Champion Kahagas left a big impression on his last trip to the Dominican Republic and the promoters for Dominican Championship Wrestling are about to meet their next big star in the form of Showtime JB Cool! CCW President Gordo D. Pallone actually outsmarted Harry Venis for a change.

OctoberFIST Review

When I entered the Coral Springs Gymnasium, I immediately felt a good vibe as the floor was set up in the arena configuration and looked first class. The new pre show MC was a high energy talker, who though dressed a lot better than the last MC, still needs to don a jacket and tie when carousing through the audience. There was a buzz in the crowd and the show began.

Dustin Turns on Bruno!
Cage Match Scheduled

Last month at Summer Heat the team of Dustin Rhodes and Bruno Sassi ran like a well oiled machine as they defeated the tough duo of Dade County Collision. It was just following that match that the machine began to sputter. Instead of celebrating, Dustin became irritated that Bruno got the pin instead of him and the two argued quietly amongst themselves for several minutes before heading back to the locker room.

Word of Coastal Championship Wrestling's talented roster has reached far and wide. Pablo Marquez has made two successful tours of Spain in as many months and looks to be headed back in the near future. CCW has received e-mails from promotions in other states and Puerto Rico requesting booking information on several of its top stars.

Worse Than We Thought!

Summer Heat marked the return of former CCW Heavyweight Champion Dustin Rhodes after being sidelined with a knee injury. He filled in for Big Til who, ironically, is out of commission following arthoscopic surgery on his knee. Dustin tagged with Bruno Sassi to face the up and coming team of Dade County Collision.
